But people aiming for speed (mostly games writers) decided to bypass the safeguards to get more performance. There are programming "rules" which were introduced way back in Windows 98 and improved on since to make things work properly. ![]() I would be confident that Canon would go through the process, and having done so, would be unlikely to have any bugs. I have seen video's of parts of the test procedures for MS certification. My younger brother used to work at MS for over a decade. However, the current version is close enough to being final that it is unlikely that any new app-compat changes are introduced. It's not yet possible to answer that without a shadow of a doubt. Given that the final version is not available until 7/29, it's not yet possible to answer that. for both EOS 7D and 7D Mk2 are completely compatible? Is there anybody in this part of the forum who can state without a shadow of doubt whether Canon's DPP etc. ![]()
